Adding something you hate to your self-care routine will have the opposite effect, making it all the more challenging to achieve with any consistency.

Finding little moments to add self-care habits is an excellent way of ensuring you find the time to promote self-care. It’s also a sneaky way of breaking up the day, so it’s a win-win. For example, consider working out in a few quick workout routines throughout the day. This will serve two advantages: first, it gets you exercising, and second, it helps force you up and away from your desk for a few moments. Both are excellent ways of caring for yourself.
Find Creative Solutions
Alternatively, you can find creative solutions and ways to add self-care into your daily life. For example, many people aim to get up and move around, as their working life forces them to be stationary. If this is proving to be quite challenging, consider investing in a standing or adjustable desk. That way, you can get up from your desk — but continue to get your work done!
Pick a Healthy Yet Attainable Goal
There are a million ways we can make our lives healthier and happier. Obtaining one small health goal is a great way of implementing self-care into your life. One easy example would be trying to ensure that you drink more water.
